The Challenge:
No junk food for 7 days.
This means no chips, chocolate bars, ice cream, soda, unhealthy fast food, etc.
The Hockey Benefit:
Coach Dan could talk on this for hours, but junk food doesn't do any good for fueling our bodies to perform at top levels.Β
It can have a negative effect on our on-ice performance and body composition (i.e. lead to unwanted body fat that will slow us down on the ice).
All-Star Level:
7 days no problem for you? Try going the rest of Septemeber without any junk food!
Make The Commitment:
Comment or like this post if you are committing to giving this September challenge a try!
*Make sure you comment when you've successfully completed the challenge to get added to the leaderboard and have a chance at winning a prize at the end of the year!

I'm going to start this section off with a personal win...
As we released our new Hockey Speed Kits and the 30-Day Breakaway Speed System, I challenged myself to complete the 30-day system.
Most of my training sessions came around 6-7 am when the sun was coming up (as we had a newborn at home) but I got it done!
My speed, agility, and conditioning levels were night and day from the first few workouts to Week 4. I felt FAST out there! π
I wasn't able to get on the ice (because of COVID-19) to do a true speed test, but I know that I got more explosive and better conditioned. I can't wait to hit the ice and see the results out there!
I took this challenge as apart of the #MyLungLife Hockey Challenge. If you'd like to help me reach my fundraising goals you can click here and make a small donation.
